KENTWOOD — Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services will host an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at their new location, 3680 44th St. SE, Suite 201. The event will be held 3:30-6 p.m., and will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, refreshments and special guest speakers.
“I’m looking forward to welcoming our neighbors to our new offices, and for them to learn about what we offer for our communities here. But especially because this year is our 20th anniversary, and we want to celebrate our longevity and ability to serve such a diverse population here in West Michigan,” said Executive Director Deb Atwood.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services is an independent nonprofit agency serving Grand Rapids and surrounding areas since 1996, providing equal communication access, education and advocacy to the hard-of-hearing and deaf. For more information, visit www.deafhhs.org.
