(Grand Rapids, MI, September 17, 2014) — Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, a 501(c)3 agency, is hosting an Open House for the media, general public and donors on October 3, from 4 to 7 pm at 4328 Kalamazoo Avenue in Grand Rapids. The Open House will give stakeholders and the public an opportunity to learn more about Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services’ programs and activities, the organization’s future plans, meet the board and staff, tour the building and view the newly built deck and memorial garden.
“We serve over 1,900 consumers, Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing, here in West Michigan through equal communication access, education, cultural awareness and sensitivity training. Our organization wants to give the opportunity to our donors, consumers and the public to come and learn more about what we have been doing, and what our future plans are,” states Board Chair Kristin Dart. “We hope you will join us for our Open House, and learn how we can help each other make Grand Rapids even more inclusive and greater than it already is.”
