Wyoming City Council Meeting!
My name is Nancy Gingery. I am a volunteer at Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS).
The Deaf community, as a whole, experiences frustration with communication access. For example, at the hospital or doctor’s office, at work, plays and other events. This list goes on and on.
The Wyoming City Council is having a meeting on April 7th (Monday), at 7pm at the Wyoming City Hall, 1155 28th St. When you enter the building, you will see a sign for Wyoming City Hall Council Chambers.
At the meeting, Deb Atwood and Debbie Buckley will be giving a presentation to educate the local leaders about the Deaf community.
All you need to do is show-up to the meeting and watch. It is important that you show up so that the city leaders can see the Deaf community and understand that ASL is required for communication.
Thank you for watching. You can make a difference. We will see you on April 7th.
