DESCRIPTION:Deliberate practice group\n\n\nJoin us for Deliberate Practice Group on Wednesdays online for two hours of focused practice on ASL to English and English to ASL interpreting. Join us for one session or all 6!  \n**This practice group is targeted to Interpreters in Training Program (ITP) students and new interpreters to help them with their skills and provide positive feedback from mentors.** This practice group is conducted in spoken English\, please email workshops@deafhhs.org for accommodations before May 10\, 2022. \nDates include May 11\, 18\, 25\, June 1\, 8\, 15 \n6:00 – 8:00 pm. \nEach session $20. \nCancellation policy: NO REFUNDS \nFor example\, 4 sessions will cost you $80. All 6 sessions will cost you $120. \nWhen ordering please select the ticket that includes the number of sessions you would like to attend. For example\, if you want to attend 4 sessions click on this ticket. It will include the price for 4 sessions. You will be prompted to select which sessions you would like. \nConnecticut RID is an approved RID CMP Sponsor for Continuing Education Activities. This Professional Studies (PS) program is offered for 0.2 CEUs at the “Some” instructional level for each week of attendance.

Online conversations hosted on Zoom.  \n$20/participant until May 3\, 2022. Price increase after that.  \nWorkshop will be held in spoken English. Accommodation requests must be made by  4 pm on May 10\, 2022. \nConnecticut RID is an approved RID CMP Sponsor for Continuing Education Activities. This Professional Studies (PS) program is offered for 0.2 CEUs at the “Some” instructional level. \n**State of MI “Ethics” CEUs pending** \nCancellation Policy – 50% refund if cancelled by May 3 2022. After this date\, no refund will be given. D&HHS reserves the right to cancel at any time with a full refund. Eventbrite fees will NOT be refunded.
