Our annual Kids Kamp is going virtual again! Each day we will release a new set of videos on our YouTube channel featuring a fun virtual adventure with our favorite Kamp counselor, Nancy! We will be exploring some of the Grand Rapids area’s favorite family attractions with our Kids Kamp friend, Kenny the Monkey. Access to Virtual Kids Kamp videos are completely FREE! Appropriate for kids ages 3-12.
On their adventures Nancy and Kenny will be visiting:
Blandford Nature Center
Grand Rapids Recycling Center
The John Ball Zoo
Meijer Gardens
Come along with Nancy and Kenny on their adventures, July 12-16, 2020! In addition to our ASL videos, completely accessible with spoken English interpretation and written English captions, you can also purchase a Kenny’s Kids Kamp Kurious Kit! Your Kurious Activity Kit will be full of fun things to do and learn related to the places Nancy and Kenny visit! Each kit will include snacks and drinks for each day, ASL vocabulary, crafts, and other fun activities to promote new learning experiences! In addition, the purchase of a Kurious Activity Kit also enters you into a daily drawing for bonus prizes from our locations!
Registration closes July 5th at 5pm.
Nancy and Kenny will be at the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services office in Kentwood, MI on July 9th from 4pm-6pm to pass out your pre-ordered Kurious Activity Kit. If you can’t make it to the office in person, we may be able to deliver within a 30 mile radius or ship directly to your home for an additional cost. Please contact us if you have a specific question about delivery.
